Along the congress sessions, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to promote their projects to the public in 5 minute sessions and to selected investors in private 15 minute presentations.

This is a recent and successfull initiative in Portugal. It was adopted for the first time in the 4th VCIT (May 2004) and in 6th Gesventure Meeting (November 2004) with the interest of the meetings public and, specially, with the support of PME Investimentos, a Portuguese Venture Capitalist.

In 1968, cientists Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore meet an important investor named Arthur Rock to support the financing of their project - INTEL. Rock - actually considered the 'father' of Venture Capital, wrote a Business Plan of two pages and raised 2,5 million dolars.
Today, INTEL as a capital worth of 200.000 million dolars and is considered one of the most influent Hi-Tec company in the world.
